Home Energy Performance and Comfortability Survey

This survey is for homes built between 2020 and 2025 in Western Australia. Thank you for completing this survey. It takes approximately five minutes to complete. By completing this survey before 31 May, you will go into the draw to win one of five $100 Bunnings gift cards. Winners will be announced in early June 2026.

The design considerations and choices you make when building a new home have a significant impact on indoor comfort and the energy costs associated with heating, cooling and cooking. Energy-efficient design elements—such as passive solar orientation (orient your home to maximise the benefits of the sun, capturing warmth in winter while minimising heat in summer), adequate insulation, and energy-efficient fixtures and appliances—play an important role in improving a home’s overall energy performance.

Switch Your Thinking is an initiative of the City of Armadale, City of Gosnells and the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale, working together since 2002 as the South East Regional Energy Group. We work with government, business, industry, community groups and individuals to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and contribute to global efforts to secure a safe climate.
